   Proposal Description:
   A growing body of research is expanding normative data available for neuropsychological evaluation in Spanish. Research on testing in a secondary language remains limited. This project will examine outcomes on mental status examination (MMSE and MoCA) in participants who identify Spanish as their primary language and were tested in English compared to participants tested in Spanish and to English speakers tested in English. We hypothesize that primary Spanish speakers tested in English will show worse performance on mental status examination than primary Spanish speakers tested in Spanish and English speakers tested in English.
